The Reverend Chris Sheehan, Curate and Pioneer Minister
Who am I?
My name is Chris and I am married to Carol and live in Evesham. We have been married for over 30 years and have been in Evesham since 2002. Carol is on the PCC at All Saints, Evesham, and I am involved in a number of business coaching jobs.
We enjoy walking and are recent caravanners.
Do I have any hobbies?
I enjoy walking, cooking (Italian!) and when I have time working on my allotment. Carol is busy with her various Zumba and exercise classes and we spend time with family when possible: Carol’s sister lives in the New Forest and her brother in Newbury, and my mum lives in Worcester.
What is my background and current situation?
My journey to faith began in my teens and has recently had a renewed focus when firstly as a Street Pastor in Evesham (with Carol) I began training to be an ordained minister at the Church Mission Society in Oxford on the Pioneer Ministry (starting up new projects in teams) course. I feel strongly called to sharing faith with those outside the church and my calling is as a permanent deacon to share Christ's love in the community. I have just (May 2021) completed a three-year curacy in the ARCH Benefice and will stay in the Benefice for the coming year as Pioneer Deacon.
